"The road to success is always under construction"

Agenda for Tribal Caucus

November 10,2007

The Tribal caucus is a shared resource for Union Carpenters and Tribal people working in the construction industry. We want to bridge the gap and build trust between the Carpenters Union and Tribes.

The caucus will strive to:

· Increase awareness of employment and career opportunities for all carpenters.

· Create outreach to Indian Country to partner with training programs in Indian Country and to be dedicated to promoting both new opportunities as well as opportunities already in place in the industry.

· Provide resources to the industry that can be used to ensure accurate input for the economic development for both the Carpenters Union and the tribes.

· Build relationships between Tribal and Union Leader for the benefit of all Carpenters.

· Maximize information to all tribes and Regional Councils of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
